All Social Security beneficiaries in the United States look forward to the new payments with COLA increase included by 2025. With the various holidays, family finances are faltering and more and more beneficiaries want to know when the first payment will be made.

As we have been telling in Tododisca, Social Security payments are classified every month by different dates that usually do not change. Among them is the SSI for days 1, day 3 for those retirees who made it before 1997 and finally, retirees, disabled and veterans who, depending on the date of birth, will make it on the second, third or fourth Wednesday of the month.

But this new year of 2025 comes with a surprise, because the first SSI payment falls on the New Year’s holiday of January 1, 2024.

To be clear about when SSI is collected, we leave here below the complete calendar for the first months. In it, we can see that the first payment is brought forward to December 30, being Monday, the most expected day for those who benefit from this economic benefit due to their situation of vulnerability.
