Students in the United States with debts can get some financial relief if they are eligible for the “Fresh Start Program”. Thanks to this new program, thousands of eligible citizens will be able to have some help in the economic field that will make them able to restart their debts and thus not having to pay so much money.
The only negative part of this “Fresh Start Program” is that the applications are about to close, since in just one week the program will be full. But you still have time to apply if you are a student who has debt and wants to refinance your payments to get a head start.
Requirements for a student to apply for the Fresh Start Program
Although it is true that there is little time left, it is also true that there is still a week ahead to be able to apply for this financial help that promises to put students in a slightly more advantageous situation.
Among the requirements we find that we must have, as default, no payment on Schedule Student Loan for at least 270 days. If we are in this situation, we can have access, at least in the first instance, to this financial help.
On the other hand, we must take into account that:
- The “Fresh Start Program” makes the loan repayment.
- 280K Ohioans may be eligible for this program.
- Includes Income driven repayment.
- The “Fresh Start Program” avoids Wage Garnishment.
- It also removes Default from Credit Report.
There is no doubt that students who are eligible for this type of financial help should apply for it as soon as possible, as it can be a huge financial relief and therefore can improve their lives in a huge way.
For more information, contact the United States Department of Education. Also, remember that there is not much time left to apply for the Fresh Start Program, so if you are an eligible student, be sure to start your application as soon as possible.
