When United States citizens start receiving a monthly Social Security check they do not think that they may also get some extra payment such as stimulus checks. These benefits can also be considered as such in many cases since the payment is supplemental and therefore they can get both payments without any problems.
Likewise, the Social Security Administration may also send what some citizens consider a stimulus check. This extra payment is the Supplemental Security Income and the truth is that we could get this payment every month in the event that we are eligible to receive it. Be that as it may, it is ideal to know that all states get this type of payment equally during the month.
Therefore, if you have a Social Security payment you could get a stimulus check this month. Before the end of August, the Supplemental Security Income check would arrive in double digits, bringing in extra income that no one expected before, but that can come in handy for all eligible recipients.
Where can I get this stimulus check?
One of the remarkable aspects of Supplemental Security Income payments, despite being perceived by some as a stimulus check, is their availability in all states. Furthermore, it is important to highlight that these payments are disbursed every month throughout the year. Therefore, if you are eligible for this benefit, you can anticipate receiving it directly on a monthly basis.
On August 30th, there will be an additional payment of up to $943 for us to savor. This supplementary check is in addition to the regular SSI payment that was already issued on the 1st of August. Therefore, all eligible Americans will receive a second payment as part of this benefit.
It is important to mention that the additional payment in August will only be received if Direct Deposit is activated. Beneficiaries who have accepted the stimulus check but do not have Direct Deposit activated will still receive the check, albeit a few days later.
More August payments that are not stimulus checks
The Social Security Administration will send out other checks to United States citizens before the end of August. And, as we’ve already discussed, status doesn’t matter in order to get this monthly payment. So be sure to check to see if you are eligible, as where you live will not matter for getting the money.
The next Social Security payments, regardless of any stimulus checks, are:
- August 14th.
- August 21st.
- August 28th.
In order to get any of these payments we must keep in mind that we have to meet certain requirements. The first of these requirements will be to have an accepted benefit since after May 1997. With this in mind we must fulfill years in specific days to get the payment before or after.
