The last of the August SSDI payments for thousands of beneficiaries is very close and after this collection day they will have to wait until September

SSDI payments will arrive in August to some Beneficiaries soon

SSDI payments will arrive in August to some Beneficiaries soon

Before the end of August thousands of United States citizens will get their monthly SSDI benefit. But it is true that some of these beneficiaries will have to wait a little longer to get their money. Still, there are many other Americans who have already gotten their monthly Social Security benefit.

The timing of retirement payments, whether SSDI or another type of monthly check, involves several different days. In this regard, the day of payment will depend directly on the group of retirees to which we belong. If we are in group 1, we will receive a check on the first collection day of the month. It is a very easy method to follow and thanks to it we can control when we collect our benefit.

And in just a few days one group will be able to collect SSDI check for the month of August and will not have access to another check during the month. However, some others might get one more check, although it is mandatory to meet several requirements to get it. So pay attention to the payment schedule.

SSDI recipients who receive their last collection in August

First of all, it is important to be clear that both SSDI beneficiaries and other retirees can access this last payment of the month. The day of the Social Security collection does not depend on the type of retirement benefit, but rather on other factors. So, whether we have an Age Retirement check or a Disability payment will not matter.

The new one of the checks we are talking about will arrive on the 14th of the month. This new check will be the last of the payments for beneficiaries who do not have access to Supplemental Security Income. However, in order to receive the August 14th SSDI payment, two requirements must be met.

First, you must have a birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month. On the other hand, it is necessary to have applied for retirement after May 1997. If both requirements are met, we will be able to get this payment. And in the case of not having the SSI check accepted, it will be the last Social Security payment for the whole month.

How to get the extra SSDI check in August?

However, if we have an accepted SSDI benefit and are also eligible for SSI, we will be able to get an extra check before the end of the month. Due to an irregularity in the September calendar, we will have access to the extra Supplemental Security Income check in August.

Thus, those recipients of this type of check can get this extra payment on the 30th of the month. The amount received will be the same as usual, so we will not have extra money or a larger payment. The maximum check is $943 and if we get it on August 30th we will not be able to receive it in September as well.
