Most Social Security Disability payments are already in the checking accounts of citizen beneficiaries. But there is still one payment of this benefit that has not yet reached United States households in June 2024. This latest payment is only for Group 4 retirees, so if you belong to that group the money could be arriving in your checking account soon.
You need only belong to group 4 retirees to have the payment available to you on the upcoming June 26th, 2024. Of course, it is also necessary to have activated Direct Deposit, which is the fastest collection method of all. In any case, if we are part of group 4, the Administration will send us the Social Security Disability Insurance very soon.
Who gets the new Social Security Disability payment?
As we have already mentioned, this new payment will arrive on June 26th. At least, the Administration will send the payment to these Group 4 Disability beneficiaries. Just checking if you meet the requirements will be enough to receive the benefit on that day.
The conditions to receive the Social Security on the 26th day are as follows:
- To have the retirement accepted since after May 1997.
- To reach your birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month.
These two requirements are mandatory for the Social Security Administration to send us the Disability retirement payment on this day. If we are not part of this group, the money should already be in our current account, since the rest of the beneficiaries have already collected their benefits.
Also, it is good to keep in mind that activating Direct Deposit gives us the possibility to have the check on the same day it is sent. So activate it if you do not want to have to wait at any time to be able to enjoy the Disability benefit.
Other Disability Payments
After the June 26th payment we will have to wait until July to get a new Social Security check. The next payment will be on July 1st and is the Supplemental Security Income.
This payment goes to both Disability beneficiaries and other retiree groups. Just having the check accepted in advance is sufficient. Even so, this payment is not only for retirees, but a non-retired citizen can get this payment without any problems.
The maximum check for this benefit is 943 dollars and it can be gotten immediately if we have Direct Deposit activated. Therefore, in just a few days we can have the June 26th payment and the July 1st payment if we have both Disability benefits accepted.
