Most States in the United States have already sent SNAP Food Stamps money to eligible beneficiaries. The payment schedule for this benefit is different in each state, so not all Americans have the money available.
But the rest of the SNAP Food Stamps recipients who do not yet have their benefit money do not have to worry about not getting a check soon. The benefit money will appear in the next few days on all remaining EBT cards in the States where the money has not arrived.
Still, even if the State you live in is on the list, it doesn’t mean the money hasn’t been sent. Some States, such as Florida, start sending SNAP Food Stamps at the beginning of the month, which means the payment arrives earlier but may not arrive until the last day of the calendar.
Timing of remaining SNAP Food Stamps payments
Payment of SNAP Food Stamps depends on the rules of each State. In this regard, some States send checks on a staggered basis while others pay the money on the same day to all recipients.
Before the end of next week, the States that can send SNAP Food Stamps to beneficiaries are:
- Alabama: June 4 to 23
- Delaware: June 2 to 23
- Florida: June 1 to 28
- Georgia: June 5 to 23
- Indiana: June 5 to 23
- Louisiana: June 1 to 23
- Maryland: June 4 to 23
- Missouri: June 1 to 22
- Puerto Rico: June 4 to June 22
- Texas: June 1 to 28
Remember that the money for this benefit goes directly to the EBT card. So check your card balance to see if you already have SNAP Food Stamps available or if you have to wait a little while until you finally get it.
Once you have the money on your EBT card, you can go to any of the participating establishments and buy what you need. After that, you will have to wait until next month for the State where you live to send the SNAP Food Stamps again.
