Post-1997 beneficiaries get their Disability payment on August 14th if they meet another requirement

Only two different requirements need to be met to get the next of the Disability payments that will arrive on August 14th

This is the requirement to get the new Disability Benefit

This is the requirement to get the new Disability Benefit

Having a Social Security payment, whether for Disability or other reasons, is a very large financial relief in the United States. While it is true that sometimes such a check is not excessively large, all monthly income adds up. And on August 14th we could get one of these monthly checks if we meet the requirements.

The most striking thing about this benefit is that it is not necessary to have a Disability check as such. It is true that SSDI beneficiaries who meet the requirements get the check, but so do all other Social Security payees who are in the group of eligible Americans.

If you meet both requirements, mark your calendar for August 14th, as you could get your benefit money on that day. If not, there are more benefit payment days and you may get it in a later week or two.

August 14th Disability Payment Requirements

Each Social Security collection day, whether for Disability or other reasons, has its requirements. If we meet them, we will have the money available. If not, we will have to check well the SSA payment schedule, since there are several days in which we could get the monthly benefit.

In this sense, we find that the August 14th Disability check has two mandatory requirements. If we do not meet them we will not be able to have the benefit in the checking account. If we meet them, the money will arrive on the same day or a few days later, depending on the collection method we have chosen.

The two requirements are: to have a benefit since after May 1997 and to have a birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month. Only then will we be eligible for the August 14th payment. This will be the second retirement payment of the month and both SSDI beneficiaries and all other retirees who meet these requirements can get this benefit.

If we activate Direct Deposit, the money will arrive immediately. If not, we will have to wait a little longer for the money to arrive. It usually takes a maximum of 3 days for the money to appear in the checking account for those who do not have Direct Deposit.

What is the maximum Disability check in 2024?

Each citizen who collects a Disability retirement benefit has a different check. However, everyone can have a maximum check which is $3,822 in this category. So it is not possible to collect an SSDI benefit greater than this.

On the other hand, if we have an age retirement benefit the payment can go up to $4,873. But as with SSDI, each citizen has a different check and, therefore, we can get a payment much lower than the maximum established.
