In the last days of June 2024, United States citizens can enjoy new Social Security Administration payments. Also, it is not only this benefit that will be available to Americans.
In addition to the Social Security checks, there are other benefits that could be coming to Americans’ pockets, so it is a good idea to check the availability of these payments to find out if we will have it soon or not.
Mind you, as for Social Security only group 4 can get this week’s check, so the rest of the retirees can’t count on the new benefit. Be that as it may, there are also SNAP Food Stamps payments in some U.S. states.
Social Security and other check payments in the last week of June
As we have already discussed, there are several payments to watch for in the last week of June. If we have a retirement payment we could get check next June 26th. The rest of the beneficiaries should already have the money, but if there is any delay we could get it in these days.
These are the payments that could arrive in the next few days:
- Social Security. June 26th. This payment is only for group 4 retirees. In this group it is mandatory to have the benefit since after May 1997 and to have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month.
- Supplemental Security Income. Not arriving this week, but almost. The payment of this benefit will appear soon on the 1st of July. Any recipient with this benefit can get this payment.
- SNAP Food Stamps. Only in the States of Florida and Texas we can get the check before the end of this week. The rest of the States have already paid all the benefits of this check.
These three payments are compatible with each other, but it is not mandatory to have one of them to collect another one. We could get just the Social Security payment or we could collect retirement and the other two checks.
With Direct Deposit activated, Social Security and Supplemental Security Income payments will appear on the same day they are sent. Without this collection method, the money will appear a few days later. Additionally, the SNAP Food Stamps payment will go directly into the beneficiaries’ pockets, as the money will appear on the EBT card.
Direct Deposit not only ensures the timely receipt of funds but also reduces the risk of loss or theft of checks. Beneficiaries can access their funds more quickly and conveniently, allowing them to manage their finances more efficiently. This method also contributes to reducing administrative costs associated with issuing and handling paper checks. By opting for Direct Deposit, beneficiaries can enjoy greater security and peace of mind, knowing that their payments will be available immediately, without delays or additional complications.
