June SSDI with COLA increasing checks to $3,822 will reach targeted group within a week

New Social Security SSDI payments of up to $3,822 will be coming soon to the new group of retirees eligible for it

These are the new requirements to get the next SSDI payment

These are the new requirements to get the next SSDI payment

SSDI retirees in the United States receive a retirement benefit each month. This means that the checks for this benefit arrive every month to the retirees’ checking accounts. What is certain is that the payment arrives each month, but what we must keep in mind is that the day of collection is different for each group of retirees.

In this sense, the next of the payments that the Social Security Administration will send to SSDI retirees will arrive only for a specific group of Americans. If we do not keep this in mind we could have financial problems, since knowing this information is the only way we have to effectively organize our finances.

Be that as it may, we will get the monthly SSDI payment. What we do have to keep in mind is that the check will arrive sooner or later depending on whether we belong to one group of retirees or another. In the case of the next payment, it is necessary to belong to retiree group 3. And for this, there are only a couple of requirements that must be met.

Requirements for the new next day’s SSDI

The day on which the Social Security Administration will pay the new SSDI will be next June 18th. On this day, group 3 retirees can enjoy the monthly benefit. However, we must take a good look at the requirements. Also, remember that thanks to the COLA this June 2024 check is higher than the previous year’s June.

The requirements for collecting SSDI on June 18th are:

  1. Have a Social Security check from after May 1997.
  2. Have a birthday between the 11th and 20th of any month.

There are no other requirements, which means that any type of retiree can get the payment. It doesn’t matter if the check is for age-based retiree or SSDI retiree. What is really important is to be part of the aforementioned group.

In this regard, the amount of the check also does not matter in order to get the June 18th payment. Each beneficiary gets a different check depending on his or her work history. The SSDI payment has reached a check of up to $3,822, but that does not mean that all beneficiaries get such a check.
