The United States Social Security Administration sends a new retirement payment to SSDI beneficiaries each month. This Disability payment arrives on the same day as other retirement payments. Although it is true that in order to get a check sooner or later, we must meet certain requirements.
For this reason, June 26th will be the payment day for both SSDI and age or other reasons. Either way, the important thing to keep in mind is that the Social Security check may come very soon and will be the last of all the June checks.
It is vitally important to know that this payment is the last one in June. That means we should have our SSDI check by then. Otherwise, the payment is late, since the rest of the retiree groups have already gotten their monthly benefit.
If you meet two requirements, the June 26th SSDI payment will arrive in your checking account. If you don’t, the money should already be available. So pay attention to those two requirements.
Requirements for the June 26th SSDI payment
Knowing that the Social Security Administration has already sent out most of the SSDI payments we should double check the requirements for June 26th. There are only two very simple requirements and thousands of beneficiaries meet them.
On the one hand, it is mandatory to have the benefit, whether it is for Disability or for another reason, since after May 1997. On the other hand, it is important to have the date of birth between the 21st and 31st of any month and any year. The exact day is the only important thing, since neither the month of birth nor the year is important to get this payment.
If we meet both requirements, the Social Security Administration will pay us our SSDI check on June 26th. Add Direct Deposit activation to that and we find that the payment will appear in the checking account on the same day it is sent. Without this collection method, it takes about three days for the money to appear.
Remember that the maximum SSDI payment is $3,822 per month, but not everyone gets such a check. The payment you will get this June will be the same payment you got in the previous months of 2024.
