As soon as a new month begins, the Social Security Administration announces a new payment schedule for retirees in the United States. The great advantage of collecting one of these monthly payments is that we can know, thanks to this calendar, when our check will be available.
And on the next June 26th the Administration will send out the new retirement checks to all eligible beneficiaries. And to be eligible we only have to meet two mandatory requirements. If we meet both requirements we will be able to have a new payment in just a few days.
However, there are many other groups that cannot get this new payment from Social Security. Therefore, we should check well if we belong to one of the groups that will not collect the new benefit, since it is possible that we will have to wait a little longer to get the new one of the checks.
Who will not get the new Social Security?
The June 26th payment will be for United States retiree group 4 only. Therefore, we find that on the 26th of this month the other three remaining groups will not be able to get the new monthly benefit. This really means that these three groups have had to get the payment in the previous days.
Thus, we have to pay attention to the characteristics of the groups that do not get the check. These are the groups and the conditions:
- Group 1. Retirees prior to May 1997.
- Group 2. Retirees with benefits after May 1997 with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- Group 3. Retirees with a Social Security check after May 1997 and birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month.
If you belong to one of these groups, your June benefit payment should already be in your checking account. In this regard, only retirees in group 4 can get the payment on June 26th. And to be part of this group it is necessary to fulfill two conditions.
These two conditions are to have a Social Security check since after May 1997 and to have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month. If we are in this group, we could get the payment very soon.
In addition to that, we should also keep in mind that the collection method chosen is key to be able to get a check on this day. In this sense, only Americans who have Direct Deposit activated can get the payment on the same day of sending, but the rest will enjoy the Social Security a few days later.
