In the coming weeks, the United States Social Security Administration will send new SSDI payments to eligible beneficiaries. However, each group will get the benefit on a different day, so we should make sure we know what the conditions are for collecting on one day or the other.
The great advantage of getting a Social Security payment with SSDI is that we can know which group of retirees we belong to. With this information we will be able to know perfectly at what time of the month we will have the money available. And this is useful not only for the February payment, but also for the payment of all the remaining months of the year.
Upcoming SSDI payments in February 2025
Checks for this benefit arrive in different weeks next February. If you have a check and are eligible to get payment, whether SSDI or not, you will be able to enjoy a payment very soon.
Thus, the different groups will be collecting on the following days:
- Group 1. February 3, 2025.
- Group 2. February 12, 2025.
- Group 3. February 19, 2025.
- Group 4. 26th February 2025.
So you have to know which group you belong to, but that’s very simple. To belong to SSDI Retiree Group 1 we must have had the benefit accepted since before May 1997. There is no other requirement to be part of this group.
On the other hand, groups 2, 3 and 4 are made up of citizens who have had a benefit since after May 1997. In this sense, the birthday marks the exact group. Americans with birthdays between the 1st and 10th are part of group 1. Americans with birthdays between the 11th and 20th are part of group 3. Finally, group 4 is made up of Americans with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of any month.
By simply checking this information we can mark on the calendar the exact day on which we will get the money. Although it is true that here we find the days of the February SSDI payments, in the rest of the months the calendar is similar.
