Payments from the Social Security Administration continue to come in for citizens with a disability in the United States within the month of January 2025. This month will have one more payment for this group of retirees, but it is certain that there will be an extra payment before the end of the month, although it is an SSI payment and not a retirement payment.
Knowing this we can determine when the last of the month’s Disability payments will be and who will be able to get it. In addition, the maximum checks for 2025 are already determined, so we can also mark the maximum amount to get.
So we should pay attention to this payment schedule which can determine if a check is available for a specific group. The group that will get this new payment will be retiree group 4. If we are not part of group 4, the Disability payment will appear in February, so we will have to wait a little longer.
New Disability Payments in January
This new Disability payment will arrive on January 22nd to thousands of eligible United States citizens. Just meeting two requirements will be enough, so we should check these conditions. So, they are only two conditions since not only Disability retirees can get the payment.
Thus, Disability retirees and the rest of retirees will have to take into account that:
- It is mandatory to have a benefit after May 1997.
- It is mandatory to have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month.
Fulfilling both requirements will be more than enough to be able to get the payment on January 22nd. If you have Direct Deposit activated, the payment will appear on the same day it is sent. Americans who do not have this collection method activated will be able to receive the benefit six days later.
The maximum January 2025 Disability payment will be $4,018 per month, but each American gets a different check depending on his or her situation.
