Bank of America warns of outage

Last Wednesday, United States citizens using Bank of America had an unpleasant surprise when they were unable to access their banking data. For some citizens, not being able to have that information could be a catastrophe and many of them said so.

Even so, it is true that Bank of America itself assured that it fixed the bug for most of the users, so that shortly after not being able to access their bank accounts everything was restored directly. So many of the Americans who had problems stopped having them a few hours later.

But to this day there are still citizens who have problems checking their Bank of America bank account. For the most part, the problems started to be seen around 12:45, according to ET Downdetector, a platform that collects data on these kinds of outages.

What has Bank of America communicated about the outages?

Bank of America itself has spoken in a statement with the media to assure that “some customers are experiencing a problem accessing their accounts and balance information today.” Likewise, it has also acknowledged that “These issues are being addressed and have been largely resolved.” Therefore, we find that most of the citizens who had a problem no longer have a problem as of today.

Besides apologizing for the inconvenience caused, Bank of America has not specified what exactly happened or what the problem was. At the moment we do not have an exact date for everything to return to normal, so we can only wait.

Some of the citizens still have this problem today, so if you are a Bank of America user you may not be able to check your balance. At the moment, we can only wait, so there is nothing we can do about it. As soon as Bank of America fixes the situation we will be able to see our bank account balance again.
