The Social Security Administration’s payment schedule determines at what time of the month each group of beneficiaries gets a new benefit. In this regard, in just a few days thousands of beneficiaries will be able to access this check as long as they meet certain conditions.
The check sent by the Social Security Administration in the coming week of July will be for group 2 beneficiaries and may have a maximum amount of $4,873, although not all citizens will get such a high payment.
If you are a Group 2 retiree, you can mark next week as the time to get your benefit from the Social Security Administration. If you are not in this group, there is nothing to worry about, as you can still get your check, just on a different day of the month.
Social Security Administration’s new payment requirements
The exact day that the Social Security Administration will send out the new retirement payment is July 10th. On this day, retirees in a specific group can enjoy their stipulated amount, whether it is $2,500 or any other amount.
To be part of the retiree group we must meet the characteristics of group 2. Group 2 SSA retirees are those who:
- Have an activated retirement since after May 1997.
- Have a birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month.
SSA beneficiaries who may meet these characteristics will have direct access to the July 10th payment. In addition, if we activate Direct Deposit as a collection method, we will be able to get the money on the same day it is sent.
Also, if we have Supplemental Security Income accepted, the money from this other benefit should already appear in our checking account. The Administration sent this payment on the 1st of the month and it is fully compatible with the retirement benefit.
It is also good to remember that all types of benefits arrive on this July 10th for this group 2 of retirees. In this way, the Social Security Administration will send checks for age retirement, Disability, VA and any other check.
