The list of retirees in the United States who will get their new Social Security benefit in the next few days is now available. The payment will be sent on March 12th and to get this payment you only need to meet two requirements. In addition to that, if you want to receive the payment on the same day it is sent you must also meet another requirement.
Be that as it may, the important thing in these cases is to keep a close eye on all the available information. And, luckily, the Social Security Administration has made it available to all Americans what the next retirement payment day will be and who will be eligible to receive it. If you are on the list, you could get a check for up to $5,180 in just a few days.
But the most striking thing of all is that if you are not on the list, you will not have to worry about anything, as there are more payment days in the month of March 2025. Social Security Payment of March 12, 2025
The two conditions for getting the new Social Security payment, which will arrive on March 12th for many United States citizens, are related to the birthday and the day the retiree applied for their benefit.
Thus, it is not possible to receive the Social Security payment on March 12th if we are not in this group:
- To have been receiving the benefit since after May 1997.
- To have your birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month.
It is not compulsory to have your birthday in the month of payment, as we only have to take into account the beneficiary’s day of birth in order to get the payment on March 12th. Similarly, the year of birth will not matter for the collection of the payment, but the year in which we retired does matter.
With Direct Deposit, this check for March 12th will arrive on that same day, but if we do not choose this method of collection, we will receive the benefit in the following days. The usual wait is a maximum of 3 days to obtain the benefit.
