Although United States citizens who receive Social Security benefits get their payment every month without any problems, payment day can change from one group of retirees to another. It is compulsory to meet certain requirements in order to receive the new Social Security benefit, especially if we want to get it on the 3rd of March itself, which is the day the Administration will send the money to the beneficiaries. New Social Security retirement payment
March 3rd will be the day this new Social Security payment is sent out in the United States. - To have been collecting a Social Security payment since before May 1997.
- To have Direct Deposit activated as a payment method. This requirement is optional, but advisable, as it means that the payment arrives immediately in the current account.
Therefore, we can conclude that those retirees after May 1997 will not get their Social Security check on March 3rd, but will have to wait a little longer.
So, to get the check in the next few days, you need to have the check after that date and, in addition, your birthday falls on specific days. Payments may arrive on the 12th, 19th and 26th of March, so pay attention to the full Social Security calendar to make sure which day you will collect your check during the month.
