Social Security is sending more checks in the next days

Whether it’s today or in a few days’ time, thousands of citizens in the United States will be able to receive a new Social Security Direct Deposit. The exact day on which this group will get the payment will depend on the collection method activated, but apart from that, certain requirements must be met.

Without a doubt, knowing whether or not we are eligible to receive one of these checks is important in order to directly organize our monthly budget, since we will not receive another check until the end of April in most cases. Of course, it is important to be part of Retiree Group 4 in order to be within this collection day.

If we do not collect this payment on March 26th, it does not mean that we will never collect a Social Security payment again. The truth is that during the month the Administration sends up to 4 different payments, so we must check the requirements of each payment in order to mark the day of the calendar on which we will receive the payment each month.

Requirements for the new Social Security Direct Deposit

The new Social Security retirement checks are arriving today to a large group of American retirees. But that doesn’t mean that all Americans can enjoy this check. Only two conditions need to be met, but if we don’t meet them, we won’t be able to be part of group 2.

In any case, you must have received a payment since after May 1997 and have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month. Only then will you be in group 4 of pensioners and, therefore, directly in the group that collects the benefit today.

However, pay attention to the following dates to find out which day you could get the money:

It is possible to collect even after March 28th, but it all depends on the beneficiary’s bank. The Administration sends the checks, but whether or not they are received immediately depends both on the method of collection and on the bank we have.

How much money will I get from Social Security?

The amount we will receive depends on our usual benefit. The payment will arrive in the next few days for this group 4, but the amount does not change from previous months. If we have a payment of $2,300 from the beginning of 2025 we will continue to receive the same benefit.

The Supplemental Security Income payment can change every month, but the retirement payment does not change, so we will always have the same payment unless the COLA takes effect, although that only happens once a year.
